This serene drive in pastoral Otter Tail county visits the forests and lakes of Maplewood State Park and Glendalough State Park, a scenic overlook at Inspiration Peak, and the 1889 Phelps Mill and millpond. Regional artists display their work at galleries in Battle Lake and Fergus Falls and during summer art fairs. Several quirky metal sculptures line the road in Vining. Check for concerts and plays at A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls. This drive also brings you to the new Central Lakes Bike Trail and to part of the Pine to Prairie Birding Trail.
